§ 34.40. Gas tax street improvement fund.

(A)

Creation. To comply with the provisions of Cal. Sts. & High. Code, Article 5 of Chapter 1 of Division 1, there is hereby created in the Town treasury a special fund to be known as the "Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund."

(B)

Deposits. All moneys received by the Town from the state pursuant to the provisions of the Cal. Sts. & High. Code for the acquisition of real property, or interests therein, or for the construction, maintenance, or improvement of streets or highways, other than state highways, shall be paid into the Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund.

(C)

Expenditures. All moneys in the Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund shall be expended exclusively for the purposes authorized by, and subject to, all of the provisions of Cal. Sts. & High. Code, Article 5 of Chapter 1 of Division 1.
